Welcome to the official website of the Rhode Island Theatre Education Association (RITEA)! Our goal is to help cultivate students' love and appreciation for theatre through comprehensive arts education. We do this by affording student thespians the opportunities to explore their creative potential, express themselves authentically, discover an appreciation for collaboration, and develop a sense of empathy for others, and understanding of themselves. 

In 2019, we had the pleasure of welcoming theatres from around the region to perform at the 2019 New England Drama Festival, hosted by Cranston High School West and Bishop Hendricken High School. For more information on the festival, click here.
